If you deliver larger-than-average orders, you can configure DoorDash Drive (DDD) to use car dashers exclusively. This ensures a better delivery experience for clients purchasing larger orders.
Steps to Set Up Car Dashers for Large Orders
Access Driver Tracking Settings:
Open the OU console.
Navigate to
Integrations>>Driver Tracking.Click on the DoorDash Edit icon.
Set Order Amount Threshold:
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Find the field for the order amount (default is $100).
Enter the desired threshold amount. Orders over this amount will request a car dasher. Orders below this amount will default to walker, rider, or car.
Save Your Changes:
Click either "Save & Exit" or "Save & Continue" to apply the changes.
