Using DoorDash Drive with Other Drivers

  • Exclusive Use: When DDD is enabled with ordering windows, it automatically books drivers. You can't cancel these bookings unless the order is canceled and refunded.

  • Manual Use: Without ordering windows, you can manually call DoorDash drivers and use your own drivers simultaneously. Note that DDD overrides other drivers if activated in the console.

Customer & Merchant Order Flow

  1. Customer Order: The customer places an order for delivery.

  2. Order Notification: The order appears on your OU Console or printer screen.

  3. Order Details: Click on the order to view all details, including estimated pickup and delivery times.

  4. Customer SMS: The customer receives an SMS from DDD with their estimated delivery time and a tracking URL.

  5. Driver Notification: The customer receives another SMS when the driver is approaching.

  6. Order Completion: Once delivered, the order moves to the Completed Orders tab on your OU Console or printer screen.

To track live orders or review past ones, navigate to your OrderUp console: go to the specific Order --> View --> Driver Summary --> Click on the Link.
