Quick answer: From 29 October 2026, Nomni Ordering checkout hides the credit card form and saved cards wherever it shows Apple Pay. Card checkout stays when Apple Pay isn't shown, and Google Pay is unchanged.
This article is for venues using Nomni Ordering for online orders.
What changed?
Card entry is hidden when Apple Pay shows. On Apple devices that can use Apple Pay, such as iPhones (including Chrome on iPhone) and Safari on a Mac, diners see Apple Pay instead of the card form and saved cards. This applies to Stripe and Adyen checkouts.
Nothing changes elsewhere. On devices where Apple Pay isn't shown, diners can still enter a card or use a saved card. Google Pay works as before.
Do I need to do anything?
No. The change is automatic. If a diner asks why they can't enter a card, the steps are in Why can't I pay by card when Apple Pay is shown in Nomni Ordering?: they can pay with Apple Pay, or order from a device where Apple Pay isn't shown.
