Quick answer: Since 29 October 2026, when Nomni Ordering checkout shows Apple Pay, it hides the credit card form and saved cards, so Apple Pay is the card option on that device. Pay with Apple Pay, or use a device where Apple Pay isn't shown to enter a card.
This article is for diners ordering online with Nomni Ordering, and for venues answering their questions.
Why is the card option missing?
On Apple devices that can use Apple Pay, such as an iPhone (including Chrome on iPhone) or Safari on a Mac, checkout now shows Apple Pay instead of the card form. You won't see the new card fields or your saved cards there. On devices where Apple Pay isn't shown, card checkout works as before. Google Pay hasn't changed.
How do I pay when only Apple Pay is shown?
At checkout, choose Apple Pay.
Pick a card from your Apple Wallet and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
Wait for the order confirmation.
What you should see: Your order confirmation, the same as a card payment.
How do I pay with a card instead?
Open the venue's ordering page on a device where Apple Pay isn't shown, for example an Android phone or a Windows computer.
Add your items and go to checkout.
Enter your card details or choose a saved card, then place the order.
What you should see: The card form and your saved cards at checkout, then your order confirmation.
What if it doesn't work?
Apple Pay isn't working: check you have a card in Apple Wallet, then try again.
I need to use a card that isn't in Apple Wallet: add it to Apple Wallet, or order from a device where Apple Pay isn't shown.
Neither card nor Apple Pay shows: the venue may not have online card payments turned on. Contact the venue.
