Deliverect and Nomni Ordering: how the integration works

What syncs between Deliverect and Nomni Ordering and what to check

Quick answer: With the Deliverect integration, Nomni Ordering gets your menu from Deliverect, sends online orders to Deliverect and takes snoozed items and busy (paused) status from Deliverect. Nomni Ordering support sets it up. Change menu items, prices and snoozes in Deliverect, not in the Nomni Ordering console.

This guide is for the Nomni Ordering console. Your console address ends in /console, for example yourstore.orderup.com.au/console. It is not the Nomni POS online store.

What syncs

  • Menu: Deliverect pushes your menu to Nomni Ordering. Product names and descriptions can only be changed in the console if Allow Name/Description Changes In OrderUp is on.

  • Snoozed items: items you snooze in Deliverect are snoozed on your online menu.

  • Busy mode: when Deliverect marks the location paused, online ordering is paused; it resumes when Deliverect sets it back online.

  • Orders: each online order is sent to Deliverect with the order type set for its method (Pickup, Delivery, Dine In or Room Service). Order status updates come back from Deliverect.

Set up

  1. Contact us to connect Deliverect. Tell us your store name and your Deliverect location.

  2. We create the link (an OUM Location ID), set the order types for each method and turn on Integration Active in live mode.

  3. In Deliverect, publish your menu to the Nomni Ordering channel.

  4. Place a test order and check it reaches Deliverect and your POS.

If something goes wrong

  • Menu changes don't show online: publish the menu again in Deliverect, then check the item is active and available for the method.

  • Orders don't reach Deliverect or your POS: check the order in Orders in the console for Order Failed to Process for below services, then contact us with the order number.

  • Store shows as not taking orders: check Deliverect hasn't set the location to busy or paused.
