When a customer chooses delivery, Nomni Ordering asks Uber Direct for a delivery estimate. If Uber can't give one, delivery shows as unavailable at checkout. Use these checks before contacting us.
Before you start
Who: a manager.
Device: your Nomni Ordering console, and the customer's delivery address.
Check your store
Check your store is open and delivery is available now in your online hours.
Check your delivery settings and delivery zones or suburbs include the customer's area.
Check your store address is right. Uber measures the distance from it.
Check the customer's order
Ask the customer to check the full delivery address, including the street number and postcode.
Try the same address yourself on your store.
Try a nearby address. If that works, the customer may be outside Uber's range.
What you should see: a delivery fee and time at checkout once Uber can deliver.
When it's on Uber's side
Uber may have no drivers nearby, especially late at night or in bad weather. Try again later, or offer pickup.
For questions about Uber Direct itself, contact Uber Direct support. See Uber Direct Merchant & Customer Workflow + Support.
If something goes wrong
If delivery is unavailable for every address, contact us with your store name, a test address and the time.
Need help?
Email [email protected] or message us from the chat. Tell us your store name, your console address and what you have already tried.
