Price Overrides let you change a product's price for a set date range or time of day, or only for some order types, without changing the product itself. Use them for happy hours, event pricing or room service prices.
Before you start
Who: a console user with the Price Overrides permission.
Device: a computer or tablet with your Nomni Ordering console open.
Create a price override
Log in to your Nomni Ordering console.
Go to Menu > Overrides > Price Overrides.
Click Create Price Override.
Enter a Price Override Name, for example Friday happy hour.
Choose the Category, then the product, then the Size (or the Size Group to change every size).
Choose the Price Type (Guest or Member) and enter the new price.
Choose the order types it applies to: Pickup, Delivery, Dine In and Room Service.
Set the Date Range. Leave Available All Time on, or set a Start Time and End Time.
Click Save.
What you should see: the override listed on the Price Overrides page. During the dates and times you set, the new price shows on your online menu.
Change or stop an override
Go to Menu > Overrides > Price Overrides.
Search for the product.
Edit the override, or switch it off with its toggle.
If something goes wrong
The price hasn't changed online: check the date range, times and order type match the order you are testing.
A deal shows "Fixed Priced Deal Type": deals have a fixed price, so a size can't be chosen.
You don't see Overrides: ask your console admin for the Price Overrides permission.
