How to add Special Instructions for Cart and Products

Adding special instructions allows your customers to let you know what they need.

This article will explain how to add Special Instruction notes.

Order Up allows for two Special Instructions fields:

1 - Special instructions in checkout

2 - Instructions for products

To activate special instructions for checkout page, turn on ‘Show Special Instructions in Checkout’ found in the back-end console under Location Settings >> Location Set up page.

2 - Instructions for products

To activate specials instructions for products, you must first activate it at the Category level, then the individual Product level.

1 - Step 1 -

Select which Category you would like to activate Instructions for, click onto Edit

then turn on Allow Instruction

(remember to click SAVE on bottom of page)

Step 2 -

Then select which Product you would like to allow instructions for, turn on Allow Instruction

(remember to click SAVE on bottom of page)
