OU Stock Level - Override for LightSpeed stock count
We have released the ability to connect and manually pull the stock counts from Lightspeed POS on a set cycle. OU keeps a track of items sold since the last sync and uses that to determine ‘how many’ are left (Stock on hand) until the next import.
In the console, under Reporting there is a new section for Stock Report this section will only show if stock is managed by the LS integration.
What
You will see a list of all product, grouped by PLU and then summarised by total available at any given location as well as a global count then of stock group wide and a direct link to products in Order Up.
There is also an option here User OU override and a value beside it OU Stock Value
If you tick the option, the input field will become available where you can set a value (can be lower/higher/same as the current Stock in POS) , after saving this value it will become the overriding stock on hand value you have.
How does this count down?
Just like normal sales when stock comes from the POS, the count down is performed the same way. Using the OU Stock value it will subtract sold since last import (or save of custom stock levels in this case) and give an output of stock on hand for customers.
