Prep time for each day (templates)

  1. In Pick Up Settings, find Pickup/Preparation Templates.

  2. For each day of the week, set the hours (0 to 2) and minutes (0 to 60).

  3. Save.

What you should see: Customers see that day's prep time when they order pickup.

Today's adjustment

When staff press + or - on the order processor, it only changes today's prep time. The next day it goes back to the template time.

The Current Adjustment for (today's date) section shows how many minutes are being added to today's prep time, and "The prep time shown to customers will be" the total.

Extra prep time for bigger orders

  1. Go to Prep time adjustment for different cart sizes/values.

  2. Add a row with a minimum cart value, a maximum cart value and the extra minutes. Use + to add a row and - to remove one.

  3. Save.

The first row that matches the cart total is used, and its minutes are added to the prep time. A row matches when the cart total is at least the minimum and less than the maximum. Leave the minimum blank to match anything below the maximum, or leave the maximum blank to match anything at or above the minimum.

Tip: Keep rows in order from smallest to largest and don't overlap them, because only the first match is used.

The same template, adjustment and cart-size options are in Delivery, Dine In and Room Service settings.
